UCoat® with UGloss-AF® High Gloss Urethane Top Coat

All UCoat It floor coating finishes begin with application of UCoat water-based epoxy. This system uses UCoat epoxy as a bonding base with the added benefit of our UGloss-AF urethane topcoat.

What is UGloss-AF?

UGloss-AF is a solvent-based urethane top coat specially formulated for use with UCoat epoxy. Adding UGloss-AF urethane to your UCoat base will enhance the chemical resistance and durability of your floor, while creating a high-gloss finish. UGloss-AF is available in clear or tinted to your UCoat base color.

Why add a UGloss-AF topcoat?

UGloss-AF is ideal for use in areas that will be exposed to automobiles, chemicals, heavy traffic and/or exterior areas. The urethane formula increases thickness of floor while creating a buffer zone for traffic wear and surface abrasions. UGloss-AF also offers UV protection from direct sunlight and other sources.

How is UGloss-AF applied?

UGloss-AF may be applied to any properly finished UCoat floor. UGloss-AF is applied with roller and brush directly to your UCoat epoxy base. Best applied within 36 hours of your epoxy base, the UGloss-AF will bond directly to the UCoat material adding a protective layer of durable urethane. The UGloss-AF topcoat will take approximately 4-6 hrs (at 68°F) to become tack-free. Your new floor will be ready for foot traffic in as little as 24 hours.

How is UGloss-AF supplied?

UGloss-AF topcoat is available in do-it yourself kits starting at $209.95 for up to a 24’ x 24’ area (576 sq.ft.) or a typical 2½ car garage of smooth concrete*. Material-only extender packs are available for larger areas.
