What is UFlek?

UFlek is a decorative enhancement for use with the standard UCoat finish. Each kit includes one of nine premixed vinyl flake combinations and a high performance clear coat to add shine and brilliance and lock the flakes into place to prevent premature wear from traffic. The flakes are broadcast by hand into the UCoat finish coat as it is applied. After the finish coat has cured, the included UGloss clear coat is applied. The floor is then ready for traffic in 12 hours.

NOTE: UFlek contains UGloss (waterbased) and is designed for interior and non-automotive areas only. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AUTOMOTIVE AREAS.

How is it sold?

UFlek is available in kits and double packs each covering up to 576 sq.ft., with a light to medium application of vinyl flakes. UFlek kits include the tools and instructions for applying UFlek, a 3½ pound container of colored vinyl UFlek flakes, and the UGloss water based clear coat. Double packs include the clear coat and flakes only.

*Each UFlek kit and doublepack includes enough UFlek flakes to provide a light-to-medium broadcast over a typical 2½ car garage. Heavier flake dansity can be achieved by purchasing extra UFlek flake jugs. For an UltraLife finish (very dense flake coverage), six times (6x) UFlek flakes are applied in multiple coats and sealed with one or more UGloss clear coats.
