What is UFlek-AF?
UFlek-AF is a decorative enhancement for use with the standard UCoat finish. Each kit includes one of nine pre-mixed vinyl flake combinations and our solvent-based urethane clear coat (UGloss-AF) to add shine and brilliance and to prevent premature wear from traffic. The flakes are broadcast by hand into the UCoat epoxy finish coat as it is applied. After the finish coat has cured, the UGloss-AF clear coat is applied, sealing the flakes into place.
How is it sold?
UFlek-AF is available in kits, single packs, and double packs. UFlek-AF kits include tools and instructions, one 3½ lb. jug of UFlek flakes with enough UGloss-AF clear to top coat and area up to 576 sq.ft. Single and double packs include materials only. Double packs include one 3½ lb. jug of UFlek flakes and enough clear UGloss-AF top coat for up to 576 sq.ft. Single packs will cover up to 288 sq.ft. and include UGloss-AF clear top coat only. *Each UFlek-AF kit and doublepack includes enough UFlek flakes to provide a light-to-medium broadcast over a typical 2½ car garage. Heavier flake dansity can be achieved by purchasing extra UFlek flake jugs. For an UltraLife finish (very dense flake coverage), six times (6x) UFlek flakes are applied in multiple coats and sealed with one or more UGloss-AF clear coats.
