What is UPrep-CLC?
UPrep-CLC is specially formulated concentrate for cleaning and preparing cement surfaces. UPrep-CLC’s foaming cleansing action prepares the surface of the floor removing oxidation, corrosion, exhaust fumes and road film quickly and effortlessly. Dirt, chalk and other contaminants are emulsified while leaving the surface pH-neutral.
Product Usage:
- Dampen the surface to be cleaned with fresh water.
- Dilute and apply UPrep-CLC according to instructions
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Repeat process once more and rinse.
- Begin coating! No dry time is necessary.
What are the advantages of using UPrep-CLC over muriatic acid?
UPrep-CLC conentrate offers several advantages over using muriatic acid to prep your concrete:
- Virtually no odor. Can be applied even in interior areas without harsh fumes.
- Easily accessable and obtainable. Some states restrict sales of muriatic acid due to it's potential use in the manufacture of illegal substances, which has led to increased demand by contractors and builders.
- Product may be shipped right to your door or facility. Similar to our UGloss-AF products, ORM-D regulation requires standard ground shipping.

How is it sold?
UPrep-CLC is available in individual 1 quart bottles and 12 bottle cases. UPrep-CLC is a concentrate and should be diluted 7 : 1 with water. Each one quart bottle will treat an area up to 12' x 24' for one rinse. For example, a typical 2½ car garage would require four (4), one quart bottles.
