UCoat professional quality do-it-yourself epoxy floor coating can be used as a standalone finish or combined with an optional high-gloss, urethane topcoat system formulated for use with UCoat epoxy (sold seperately). UCoat It floor coating topcoat systems will enhance the beauty, durability and light-reflection of the standard UCoat epoxy base system.

UCoat Epoxy Floor Coating Kit comes complete with one of seven colors of commercial grade epoxy and the necessary tools to coat a typical 2½ car garage. For larger areas, material-only single and double packs are available. A step-by-step video is also included to show how to achieve professional results. The instruction booklet contained in the kit also provides detailed directions for the application of UCoat and a warranty card to be returned to UCoat It America to enact the limited lifetime warranty.

UCoat It UltraLife is a multi-layered epoxy / urethane floor coating finish that exhibits exceptional hiding characteristics along with superior chemical and abrasion resistance. The UltraLife finish is achieved by hand broadcasting a medium-heavy application of UFlek flakes twice, each time sealing the floor with UGloss-AF clear topcoat. UGloss Top Coat is available in kits and double packs each covering up to 575 sq. ft. with two coats. UGloss dries quickly so small areas can be recoated several times to build a smooth finish, or the UGloss may be resealed and stored for up to a year to be used for touch-ups or re-coats. UGloss kits include tools, instructions, and material; double packs include material only.

UFlek Top Coat is available in kits and double packs each covering up to 576 sq.ft., with a light to medium application of vinyl flakes. UFlek kits include the tools and instructions for applying UFlek, a 3½ pound container of colored vinyl UFlek flakes, and the UGloss water based clear coat. Double packs include the clear coat and flakes only.

How many extra jugs of flakes do I need?
UFlek and UFlek-AF systems include 1 jug of UFlek flakes per 576 sq.ft. for a light-to-medium broadcast. Extra jugs may be added for a heavier broadcast. No more than 3 jugs per 576 sq.ft. is recommended without adding an additional UGloss-AF clear top coat. A broadcast density of 6-8 jugs per 576 sq.ft. is our UltraLife system (see opposite page) which requires two or more UGloss-AF clear top coats to properly seal the UFlek flakes.

UGlaze Water-based Urethane Coating System kits and double packs will typically cover 400-576 sq.ft. while single packs cover 200-288 sq.ft. Typically used to coat and seal concrete, wood, metal, and plastic, as well as a top coat option over a UCoat epoxy floor coating. Suitable for interior and exterior applications on vertical and horizontal surfaces. UGlaze provides excellent chemical resistance and durability even under ultraviolet exposure. Water repellent. Displays anti-graffiti properties.

All UCoat It systems come standard with one jug of UTex™ anti-slip aluminum oxide suitable for most areas.
One jug of UTex material will typically handle up to 1000 sq.ft. (we include one jug for every 576 sq.ft. of UCoat epoxy). Additional jugs of UTex may be purchased for a very coarse, anti-slip surface.

URock decorative quartz aggregate is typically used with UGlaze (see above) for a high-build, decorative aggregate finish, but may also be used as a color enhancement to any standard UCoat It topcoat system or substituted for UTex aluminum oxide for a less-aggressive anti-slip aggregate. URock is available in quantities of 10 and 25 lbs. Includes URock decorative aggregate only. Choice of color. Requires UCoat It epoxy base system and top coat materials for application.
