High-Gloss Urethane Top Coat

Kit Contents | Description

UGloss-AF is a chemical resistant, two-part aliphatic urethane. Applied over a UCoat epoxy coating, it helps increase durability while adding a durable, protective high-gloss finish.

UGloss-AF is available tinted to your UCoat epoxy base color allowing for richer color and ease of application. UGloss-AF Clear is primarily used where a "transparent" top coat is required to seal floor graphics or decorative multi-colored aggregates as in our UFlek-AF and UCoat It UltraLife finishes.

Items to consider when purchasing UGloss-AF:

  • UGloss-AF is a top coat only and requires application of a UCoat epoxy base system (sold separately).
  • UGloss-AF (solvent-based) top coat emits a potentially offensive odor during application. If you are planning to top coat an interior or basement area with no exposure to automotive traffic, direct sunlight or chemicals, you may consider UGloss (water-based) top coat instead.
  • UGloss-AF is available in clear or tinted to any of the standard UCoat colors. For ease of application, choose UGloss-AF color-tinted whenever "Clear" isn't required.
