The UClad-LV system is a two coat system featuring one of our water based epoxy primers and UClad-LV high build epoxy coating. The UClad-LV system is a 100% solids coating providing a high gloss finish and excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. This system can be built up (12-16 mils thick when dry) with multiple coats to increase film thickness and to fill voids in substrate. This system when used outdoors should be top coated with one of our top coats as over time it will yellow due to low UV resistance and become brittle like other epoxies.

Application Steps
This product has a mix ratio of 2 parts A(Base) to 1 part B(Activator). Product packaging is pre-measured and should be mixed as supplied. After the two parts are combined, mix well with slow speed mixing equipment such as a jiffy mixer until the material is thoroughly mixed and streak free. After mixing, transfer the mixed material to another pail (the transfer pail) and again remix. The material in the transfer pail is now ready to be applied on the primed substrate. Improper mixing may result in product failure.
For application of the UClad-LV a squeegee and a 3/8″ nap microfiber roller cover should be used (included in the UClad-LV Kit). Use squeegee to spread the UClad-LV and back roll with a 3/8″ nap micro fiber roller to even out the coating. Coating the entire surface will create a more desirable finish, otherwise a noticeable surface texture difference will be present when using UClad-LV in sections.
If you recoat or topcoat this product, you must first be sure that the coating has tacked off before recoating. However, all previous coats should be deglossed to insure a trouble free bond prior to application of recoats or topcoats. Always remember that colder temperatures will require more cure time for the product before recoating or topcoating can commence. Before recoating or topcoating, check the coating to insure no epoxy blushes were developed (a whitish, greasy film, or deglossing). If a blush is present, it must be removed prior to topcoating or recoating. A standard type detergent cleaner such as UDegrease or UClean can be used to remove any blush.
